GUEST EDUCATORS

We don’t dabble in average education, and we don’t hire average educators. Every expert on our platform is hand-selected and vetted by Christine and Alex for one reason: they are masters of their craft and teachers who genuinely believe in elevating the industry. Our mission is simple - give hairstylists access to the best of the best. Not recycled techniques or fluffy, surface-level tutorials - just real, experience-backed education from professionals who live it and breathe it everyday, and continue to raise the bar.

The industry's best all in one place

Jaye is based in Australia but you'll find him educating all over the world — and for good reason. He's known for stunning golden blondes, color corrections, and seamless blends that look effortless even when the process behind them is anything but. What sets Jaye apart as an educator is his no-nonsense approach. He's funny and deeply relatable, and he has a way of cutting straight to the things that actually matter to the working stylist — including the honest truth about how much work it takes to build the kind of career he has. No gatekeeping, no glossing over the hard parts. Just real, grounded advice delivered with a lot of humor.

Haley is based in Columbus, Ohio and is known for her beaded row work and the kind of warm, relatable content that makes people feel like they already know her before they've ever met her. She has an easy going, girl's girl energy that is genuinely magnetic — and it carries directly into her teaching. Haley has a gift for explaining things in a way that just clicks. She's matter of fact without being dry, encouraging without being preachy, and her students consistently leave feeling like they actually understood what they learned. On top of her educating and BTC business she also makes our absolute favorite foiling/extension combs (The Hex Comb).

Krista is one of those educators who can hold an entire room's attention on a topic that would put most people to sleep — and make them walk away genuinely excited about it. Based in Raleigh and teaching across the US and internationally, she's known for her blonding work, her eye for posing and photography, and her social media education. But her real superpower is her teaching style. Krista has this rare ability to take something complex and turn it into something bite-sized and memorable — she has quirky, clever ways of explaining her techniques that stick with you long after the class ends. She is charismatic in the most welcoming, non-intimidating way, and her energy is the kind that keeps everyone engaged from start to finish.

Natalie and Nicole are the duo behind Mesh Mastery, and they are the educators to go to for mesh integration and closures — a technique that is genuinely life-changing for clients dealing with hair loss or thinning. Nicole is based in New York and brings an energetic, bubbly, passionate energy to everything she teaches. Natalie is based in Missouri and brings a calmer, more laid back presence that balances the duo out beautifully. Together they are funny, charismatic, and incredibly good at making harder topics feel approachable and even enjoyable. Their different styles complement each other in a way that makes the learning experience feel dynamic and engaging from start to finish.

Evana is based in Corpus Christi, Texas and is known for dramatic transformations, gorgeous dimensional brunettes, and the kind of lifestyle content that makes people want to follow along just to see what she does next. As an educator she is charismatic, hilarious, and completely down to earth — she makes learning genuinely fun without sacrificing the substance. Her classes are packed with useful tips and techniques, delivered in a way that keeps you entertained and engaged the entire time. If you've ever been in a class that felt like a chore, Evana's is the antidote.

Juan is based in San Antonio and is known for his stunning dimensional blondes and brunettes — and for being one of the very few educators offering bilingual education in both English and Spanish. As an educator, Juan is engaging, deeply knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. He never skips a nuance or glosses over a detail, and he's exceptional at explaining the why behind his color choices in a way that stylists can actually absorb and apply. If you've ever wanted to understand the reasoning behind dimensional color decisions rather than just copying a formula, Juan's education is exactly that.

Sarah is based in Laguna Beach and is one of the few educators in the industry focused specifically on extension blend cutting — an incredibly underserved area of education that has a massive impact on the final result of any extension service. She is passionate about creating shape, movement, and seamless integration, and her knowledge in this space is genuinely hard to find elsewhere. Sarah's teaching style is quirky and deeply informative — she's a wealth of knowledge and has a way of sharing it that keeps you engaged and walking away with techniques you can put to use immediately.

Candice — known to most as Mot — is based in Raleigh and is one of the most magnetic communicators we have ever had the pleasure of working with. She specializes in hair loss education including toppers, crowns, and mesh integration, as well as business coaching — two areas that require a level of sensitivity and expertise that not many educators bring together as well as she does. Mot has a way with words that hits immediately. She's funny, warm, and has an extraordinary ability to empower people through her own personal stories and experiences. Whatever she's talking about, you feel it. She is genuinely one of a kind.

Yovanka is based in Australia and is known for her beaded row work, her extensions hair brand @yovankaloriaextensions, and an approach to coloring on the head that offers a genuinely different perspective from most US-based stylists — one that is incredibly helpful for understanding how to place dimension in the hair with intention. She is bubbly, fun, and that energy comes through in everything she teaches. Yovanka is great at walking you through her thought process in real time — how she learned, where she's pivoted, and how she's grown — which makes her education feel like a conversation rather than a lecture.

Stella is based in Las Vegas and is the educator to go to on MTAM for V-Light extensions — a technique that allows stylists to temporarily place extensions right at the hairline, creating incredible transformations in areas where other extension methods simply cannot go. It opens up a whole new world of what's possible for your clients, especially those who've been told extensions aren't an option for them. Stella is warm, fun, and an exceptional educator — she takes her time, explains the why behind everything, and teaches in a way that feels genuinely connected rather than clinical.

Kait and Sara are a duo based in Keswick, Ontario, and they are the go-to educators for wrap highlighting — a technique that is wildly underused in the industry considering what it can do. Wrap highlighting uses wrap papers instead of foil to create seamless blends and from-the-scalp blonding in a fraction of the time traditional methods require. The time savings alone are significant, but the results speak for themselves. As educators, Kait and Sara leave no detail unturned. Their knowledge is expansive and their ability to describe technique clearly means stylists can walk out of their classes and implement what they learned right away.

Lexi is based in Indianapolis and is known for her incredible blonde and brunette dimension work — the kind of blonding that looks effortless and lived-in in the best possible way. Her teaching style matches her personality perfectly: dry sense of humor, effortlessly cool, completely matter of fact. She doesn't overcomplicate things. She creates techniques that are genuinely achievable for everyday stylists and delivers them in a way that makes beautiful, dimensional color feel a lot more accessible than it might have before. If you've been making color harder than it needs to be, Lexi's education will change that.

Aly is based in Atlanta and has carved out a genuinely distinctive niche — low maintenance hair, coppers, and redheads. In an industry obsessed with blondes, Aly's expertise in warm tones and lived-in color is both refreshing and incredibly valuable. She is phenomenal at cutting straight to what stylists actually need to know — no filler, no fluff. Her explanations of the why behind her techniques are the kind that stick with you, and her approach is practical enough that stylists can take what they learn and use it immediately behind the chair.

Kate is based in Atlanta and specializes in razor cutting — an art form in its own right, and one that Kate has a genuine mastery of. What makes her extraordinary as an educator is how she teaches. Kate tells stories. She weaves emotional, connective analogies and metaphors through technical education in a way that makes the information land differently than it would coming from anyone else. She is engaging, funny, and has such a natural command of language that she can hold your attention through even the longest, most detailed videos. If you've ever learned something and then forgotten it by the time you got back behind the chair, Kate's style of teaching is the antidote to that.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT MORE THAN A METHOD

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT MTAM

Is there a certification?

No — and that’s intentional.
We believe certifications often serve the brand issuing them more than the stylist receiving them.
Our focus isn’t building our authority in front of your clients, it’s building yours.

MTAM is designed to develop your thinking, presence, and artistic confidence — so your work speaks for itself. The goal isn’t to add another logo to your bio. It’s to help you show up as the authority behind the chair.

Is there a set curriculum I have to follow?

No.
MTAM is designed more like the Netflix of hair.
There are different collections and categories you can explore at your own pace, depending on what you want to improve first — whether that’s customization, placement, branding, social media, or refinement.
You’re not locked into a rigid start-to-finish structure.

That said, if you ever feel unsure where to begin, we’re always happy to guide you. Just reach out and we’ll help you map out what makes the most sense for your current goals.

MTAM is designed to develop your thinking, presence, and artistic confidence — so your work speaks for itself. The goal isn’t to add another logo to your bio. It’s to help you show up as the authority behind the chair.

What extension methods do you cover?

Currently, MTAM covers wefts and bonds in detail — including placement, customization, decision-making, and real-time breakdowns.
We also offer more introductory-level education on crowns and partial mesh, taught by select guest educators. As MTAM continues to grow, we plan to expand into tapes and additional hair loss solutions in the future.

We prioritize depth over rushing to cover everything at surface level. MTAM is designed to develop your thinking, presence, and artistic confidence — so your work speaks for itself. The goal isn’t to add another logo to your bio. It’s to help you show up as the authority behind the chair.

Do you offer personalized feedback?

Yes, you can submit your work inside the community for personalized feedback and guidance.

Do you host live trainings?

Yes! Every week.

Topics may include:
 • Technique breakdowns
 • High-quality live demos filmed in detailed clarity
 • Full-day installs
 • Social media strategy
 • Content creation
 • Branding
 • Pricing conversations
 • Live social media audits (hosted on Zoom so you can interact directly)

When we teach business topics, it’s interactive.

Yes.
All livestream replays are available for at least 3 months after the live session.
You don’t have to attend live to benefit.
